One of the things I value most about connecting with people is whether they are present or not. Being present for others means you really value them. I really appreciate it when people are present for me. After all it shows respect, kindness and consideration.
The next time you are on a call, where ever you are, be present. If you cannot be present, do not answer the phone or if you do, ask the person if you can call them back later.
Being present means giving your attention wholly to the person on the other end of the line or the person you are with.
We are all busy getting last minute things done leading up to Easter. I am busy talking to people about media placements, so I am being extra conscious about being present no matter how much work I have on.
